Research
Scientific research is an important part of our everyday
project work. We highly value our association with the University of Greifswald
and the scientific competency of our staff. Our activities under the heading
“research” involve inventories, the collection of basic data, and the
development of new methodologies. Not all these activities lead to practical
project development and implementation – our motivation and impetus are the joy
of discovery and the description of scientific processes and contexts.
Nevertheless, many of our projects, especially in the field of climate and peatland
protection, are highly innovative – making research and experimentation an
integral component of our foundation’s strategy. We actively pursue this approach and develop it in conjunction with our
partners.
